Joel Samuel Goode

Joel Samuel Goode, age 67, of Peridot, Arizona passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 at his residence in San Carlos, AZ He was born in San Carlos on September 27, 1946 the son of Brinton and Marie (Phillip) Goode. He attended Rice School and San Carlos Day School and Ulchessay High School in Whiteriver, AZ He had worked as a truck driver and a security guard. He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam war, and while in the Army he attended Technical School. He enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing, hunting and being in the mountains. He enjoyed listening to Soul Music (Otis Redding). He like spending time with his family. Joel is survived by his daughter Debbie Standing of Whiteriver, AZ, his siblings Burton Goode, Tim Goode, Josephine Goode, Grace Goode and Rebecca Hunkup, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.   Wake will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014, at 4:00 P.M. at Goode’s residence on Rodeo Grounds, San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Seven Mile Cemetery in San Carlos, AZ
