Rachelle Marie Warren

Rachel Marie Warren age 82, of Globe, Arizona passed away on January 7, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ She was born in Miami, Arizona on May 30 1931, the daughter of Jesus and Lucy (Rodriguez) Castillo. She worked as a nurses assistant and caregiver at Gila General Hospital. Rachel received her nurses training in Kansas. She got married in 1954 to Adron Warren, who was in the U.S. Air Force at the time. They traveled extensively living in Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Forth, TX, moved to England twice and lived there for six years, then went to Denver, Colorado, on to Slina, Kansas and Panama in the canal zone. They made the long drive back to Arizona from Panama, but it was a memorable journey. She enjoyed cooking, her specialty was Tamales and Nopales. Rachel loved family gatherings, and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Lucy Castillo. Rachel is survived by her husband Adron Warren of Globe, AZ, her children; Jerry Warren and Jeanette Moore both of Globe, AZ, her sister Delia Berumen of Miami, AZ, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
