Ernest Whitehead

Ernest Whitehead, age 71 of San Carlos, AZ passed away on December 27, 2013 at Restora Hospital in Mesa, AZ He was born in San Carlos, AZ on January 24, 1942. The son of Manuel and Agnes (Reppert) Whitehead. He attended Phoenix Indian High School.He had worked for the Gas Company, Q-West Telephone in Phoenix and the Hon-Dah Casino in Whiteriver, AZ. He retired from the Apache Gold Casino. Enjoyed watching football and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He liked eating Indian Fry Bread. He also drew the art work for the San Carlos Apache license plates. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter April Whitehead and his sister Sherlene W. Lupe. Earl is survived by his half brother Donnie Dosela, Sr. and his half sister Velma Bush, 6 grandchildren. Wake will be held on Sat. January 4, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at Sandra Antonio’s residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Sandra Antonio’s residence. Interment will be at Chinatown Cemetery in Peridot, AZ
