Matthew Everett Sanchez, Sr.

Matthew Everett Sanchez, Sr. age 22, of Peridot, Arizona, passed away on Thurs. December 5, 2013 at Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ He was born in Phoenix, AZ on March 15, 1991 the son of Gary M. Sanchez and Shannon Barley. Matthew worked for the South Pacific Railroad and helped built a border patrol station 40 miles out of Yuma, AZ. He had also worked as a carpenter for a construction company building homes in San Carlos. He enjoyed spending time with his family, liked cooking, playing his guitar, and writing poetry. Matthew is survived by his sons; Matthew Sanchez, Jr. and Jacob Sanchez, his parents; Gary M. Sanchez and Shannon Barley, his brothers; Zakary A. Sanchez, Gary M. Sanchez, Jr., Diego N. Sanchez and Tiago A. Sanchez, his sister Angel Cimone Sanchez, his Paternal Grandfather Hupp Sanchez, his Maternal Grandmother Lucinda Phillips. Wake will be held on Thurs. December 12, 2013 at 11:00 at Gary Sanchez’s residence in Peridot, AZ Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Burdette Hall, in San Carlos. Interment will be at East Reservation Cemetery in Somerton, AZ
