Selma Anita O'Banion

Selma Anita O’Banion, age 84, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home in Globe, AZ. She was born in Big Rapids, MI on February 7, 1929. The daughter of George J. Moehring and Anna (Straut) Hausen. She lived early years in Arkansas where she met and married her husband of 70 years Abner A. O’Banion and they relocated to Globe in 1949. She was a Charter member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Country Club Manor in Miami, AZ. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Jane White (Tim). Selma is survived by her husband Abner A. O’Banion of Globe, AZ, her daughters Dora Buckley (Richard) of Globe, AZ and Brenda S. Moore (James) of Kingman, AZ, her sisters; Elizabeth “Betty” Chatham of Olympia, WA and Helen Reller of Pomeroy, WA, 10 grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
