Sammie Dillon

Sammie James Dillon, age 40, of San Carlos, AZ passed away on November 24, 2013, at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. He was born in San Carlos, AZ on February 23, 1973. The son of Sampson and Anita (Bullis) Dillon. Sammie attended and graduated from Globe High School in 1991. He was a member of the New Harvest Church and attended regularly with his wife and family. He helped raise and was a father roll to his late daughter Marquita ReneéTruax Patten. He enjoyed playing the drums for the Church, reading the Bible to his grandchildren, being outdoors and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father Sampson Dillon and his daughter Marquita Reneé Truax Patten in 2009. Sammie is survived by his wife Donna Dillon, his son José Patten, Sr., his mother Anita Dillon, his sisters Sherry Logan and Samantha Dillon, his brother Samuel Dillon Sr. all of San Carlos, AZ, and 4 grandchildren. Wake will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 4:00 A.M. at Denis Logan’s residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 10:00 P.M. at Burdette Hall. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery.
