Earlene June Denton, age 82, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare Nursing Home in Globe, AZ. She was born in Deming, New Mexico on August 9, 1931 The daughter of William L. Taylor and Minnie Barrow Taylor. Earlene was raise on a ranch in Mule Creek, New Mexico. She moved to Arizona at the age of 19. She enjoyed the events that took place at her church and she sang in the church choir. She was very energetic and usually liked to walked where ever she was going. She liked working with kids, she was a scout leader and an 4-H leader. Earlene enjoyed reading, Jigsaw and Crossword puzzles, sewing, country music, dancing and rodeo’s. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Minnie Taylor and her husband William Denton in 1998. Earlene survived by her daughters; Barbara Speer of Globe, AZ and Bonnie Ellen Stewart of Aguanga, CA., her sons; Tanner Denton of Mesa, AZ and Clayton Ray Denton of Globe, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 12:30–1:00 P.M. at the LDS Stake Center in Globe, AZ Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Globe, AZ Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
