Venda Lou Palmer

Venda L. Palmer, age 60, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her residence in San Carlos, AZ She was born in San Carlos, AZ on May 2, 1953. The daughter of Joseph and Irene (Hooke) Goode. Venda attended Elementary school in Globe since she lived in Seneca at the time. She went to high school in Stewart, Nevada. She was a homemaker all her life, taking care of her family and home. Enjoyed puzzles, reading, sewing, made beautiful quilts which she gave away to many friends and family, she liked taking long walks and cooking for her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, her companion Anthony Palmer in 1971, her son Kinley Goode, Jr. Venda is survived by her children; Anthony Palmer (Barletta), Wayne Salter, Sr. (Stephanie), Janell McIntosh (Leonard), Patrick Lowry (Barbara), her sisters; Mardella Goode, Dinah Noline, Kathleen Goode, Verda Salter, her brothers; Keno Goode, Sr., Kinley Goode, Sr., Ronnie Preston, 16 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Wake will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at Wayne Salter’s residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Northgate Cemetery in San Carlos.
