Lucy “Sena” Severina Marcanti 88, was granted her angel wings on July 29, 2013. Sena, as her friends knew her, was a lifetime resident of Globe. She was born to John and Clara Cubitto on March 7, 1925. Sena was a graduate of Globe High School. She also graduated from Lamson's Business School in Phoenix. After completing school, she was employed at Luke Air Force Base. Sena was also co-owner of Ernie's Electric for many years. She married her life time love Ernest Dominic Marcanti on Nov. 6, 1948. Together they raised five children. Sena was active in the Globe-Miami community. She was a member of the VFW, Globe Ladies Fire Auxilary, and Women's Book Club. She was an active member of Holy Angel's Catholic Church. Sena had an amazing spirit that brought joy to everyone she came into contact with. Her proudest moments were spent with her children and grandchildren. She fondly referred to her grandchildren as "Grandma's Little Angels" and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Larry of Texas, John (Willie) of Globe, Claire (Anthony Sapienza) of Florida, Mark (Germaine) of Globe, Tom (Kathy) of Chandler, 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie, sister, Josephine Potter, and brother Claude Cubitto. Visitation will be on Friday, August 2, 2013, at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church Followed by Rosary at 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery in Globe, Arizona
