Charles “Chick” Haines was born in Globe, Arizona on January 30, 1950. He was the son of Charles Thomas Haines II and Dorcas Lorraine Black. He entered into Eternal Rest on July 14th, 2013, at 02:28 A.M. at home in Globe, surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his wife of 35 and a half years, Shirley Ann Haines; Mother-in-law Aileen Bywater; Step-Father Joe Thorbecke; Brother Ron Howard (Donna); Sister Charla Wilson; Step-Sister, Jolene Perry (Don); Five sons: Charles “Rick” Haines (Shelby); James Haines; Christian Haines (Christy); Benjamin Haines (Ashley); Jason Steveson (Nichole); One daughter Charli Tower (Kris); Chick was the Grandfather to Fifteen grandchildren and One great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Haines II and Dorcas Black as well as his Father-in-law James Bywater, Step-Brother Kirk, and one granddaughter Celeste. Chick spent his life working in the local area for the mines, Gila County Sheriff's Office, Dr. Bejarano's Office, and most recently B.J. Cecil Trucking, where he retired due to his health. During his 63 years, Chick enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones at home, and especially in the outdoors with Mother Nature. Memorial Service for Chick will be held at the Miami High School Auditorium at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday July 27, 2013. Pot-Luck to follow in the Miami High School Cafeteria.
