Kenneth L. Cothrun

Kenneth L. Cothrun, age 87 of Globe, Arizona passed away on June 13, 2013 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ He was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma on August 18, 1926 and had lived in the Globe Miami area for 67 years. The son of Roy and Josephine (Schrimsher) Cothrun. He worked as a Foreman for Inspiration Copper Co. and had 42 years experience working in the mining industry Enjoyed deer hunting, traveling and rock collecting. Kenneth served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WW II. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Charles and Trent Cothrun. Kenneth is survived by his wife Patsy Cothrun of Globe, AZ, his daughter Linda Stephens (Vern) of Mesa, AZ, his sons; Ronald Cothrun of Globe and Jeff Cothrun (Rhonda) of Mesa, AZ, his two sisters Kitty Dillon of Farmington NM, and Bettie Hawkes of Albuquerque, NM, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6:00 – 7:30 at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 at Miami First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Pinal Cemetery.
