Paul Jack Young, age 86 of Miami, Arizona passed away on Fri. June 14, 2013 at his residence in Miami. He was born in Kirksville, Missouri on November 24, 1926. Paul served his country proudly in the U.S. Airforce as a Tail Gunner during WWII. After the war he came to Arizona in 1947 to work in his mothers grocery store in Mesa. He later worked at Tally Industries until his retirement making ejection rockets that are used in the ejection system in airplanes. Paul enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible. He liked fishing and loved sports. He enjoyed watching the Arizona Diamonbacks and Hockey games. He was also a man of many talents and worked well with his hands. He played the trumpet in a dance band and liked doing electrical work fixing things around his home. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald D. Young. Family would like to thank Crossing Hospice Doctors and staff for taking such good care of Paul and seeing to all his needs during this difficult time. Services for Paul J. Young will be private.
