James Arthur Bywater

James Arthur Bywater, age 91, of Globe, AZ passed away on June 12, 2013 at his residence in Globe. He was born and raised in Globe, AZ on July 5, 1921. The son of David Doane and Clara (Kellner) Bywater. He worked for Arizona Edison Electric and A.P.S. retiring after 37 years of time served. He was a member of the Local #387. James met the love of his life Aileen McCoy at the Grayhound Depot restaurant in Miami and they married seven months later in Oct. 1948. Together they raised three loving children. He enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing, hunting and camping with his family in the White Mountains. James served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Jean Ebmeyer James is survived by his wife of 65 years Aileen (McCoy) Bywater of Globe, his son James ‘J.C” Bywater (Kathleen) of Chino Valley, AZ and his daughter Shirley Haines (Chick) of Globe, AZ, his cousin Larry Kellner of Globe, AZ, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Visitation will be held on Sat. June 15, at 3:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Country Club Manor – Miami, AZ Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the church Interment will be at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami, AZ Family requests memorials be sent to: The Crossing Hospice – 2123 Sunset Pointe Dr. #B3 – Miami, AZ 85539 in his name.
