Edwina C. Bryan

Edwina ( Eddie) Lorraine Bryan, age 87 of Globe, AZ. passed away on March 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born and raised in San Simon, Arizona on November 20, 1925. The daughter of Raymond Irvine and Leona Maybelle (Smith) Crow. While she was in San Simon High School, Eddie worked for the railroad as a dispatcher. After she married, she and her husband eventually moved to Douglas, Arizona, and lived there for many years. She moved to Globe in 2009, to live next to her daughter. She and her husband, Bob were quite active in the Douglas Elk Lodge where Eddie was a member of the D.O.E.S. She also was a member of the Homemakers Club. Both Bob and Eddie served on the Cochise Fair Committee for many years. She retired from A.J. Bayless where she worked as a cashier. Eddie enjoyed sewing, oil painting, canning and her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Bryan in 2008 and her son Gordon Irvine Underwood in 1988. Eddie is survived by her daughters Peggy Porter (Troy) of Globe, AZ. and Sharyl Fields (Gary) of Arlington, TX, her daughter-in-law Kathy Underwood of Tucson, AZ , 11 grandchilden, 25 great-grandchilden and 9 great-great grandchildren. The family wishes to "Thank" Copper Community Hospice, Dr. Ring and Dr. Durham for all the help and care that they provided during her illness. Funeral Services will be private.
