Armida Ruiz, a lifetime resident of Globe, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2012. Armida found pleasure in serving her community by collecting for the Food Drive each week at the Bank. She volunteered at the church by serving meals after funeral services. The Senior Citizens Center was where she spent each week meeting with her many friends and enjoying in their activities. She looked forward to the Old Timers’ Reunion each year where she could dance, sing and reunite with friends and family. Armida is survived by three daughters, Loretta Dominguez, Consuelo Mooney (Wayne), and Margaret Rodriguez (Richard), six grandchildren; Dana, Gina, Marlene, Derek, Shanna, Lance, 14 great-grandchildren; Armando, Jason, Issac, Joseph, Anthony, Briana, Baylee, Korben, Miranda, Chance and Dayton, Louis, Derek and Nathanial, four great-great-grandchildren; Alexandra, Armando Jr., Anthony Jr., and Alana, her sister Virgie Gregori and many nieces and nephews. Robert (Tiny) Ruiz, Robby Bejarano and Louis Dominguez are awaiting her arrival to Heaven. She had many wonderful loving family members, neighbors and friends that cared for her in Globe. Her special friends Dottie Sanchez, Rebecca and Frank Baroldy were always true friends to her. She said many times Frank was the son she never had. Dottie, Rebecca, Frank and Lena Tena were by her side until she passed. Thank you to the caring nurses and staff at Heritage Rehabilitation. Visitation will be on Thurs. Dec. 13, 2012 at 8:30 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe. Followed by Rosary at 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
