Vernon Hooke Sr.

Vernon Hooke Sr., age 65 of San Carlos passed away on November 21, 2012 at his residence. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on May 15, 1947. Son of Lopez and Theodore Hooke. He worked as tire re-treader. Vernon enjoyed listening to Indian music and to oldies. He also loved watching old westerns and spending time with his grandkids. He was a big Oakland Raiders fan. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Lopez Hooke, his wife Sarah Hooke and son Brian Hooke. He is survived by his son Vernon Hooke Jr. (Crystal) of San Carlos, daughter-in-law Donna Dawson, Sisters Nadine McDowell of Needles CA, Rachel Thompson of San Carlos, Andrita Bullis of San Carlos, Lolita Gibson of Globe, AZ and brother Lqawrence Hooke of San Carlos. Wake will be Saturday December 1, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at the Hooke residence on White Mountain Ave. Funeral Services will be held at the Hooke family residence on Sunday December 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be at Upper Peridot Cemetery in Peridot
