Andrea Mae Steele

Andrea Mae Hopkins Steele, age 58 of Peridot, AZ passed away on November 11, 2012 at her residence in Peridot, AZ She was born in San Carlos, AZ on May 15, 1954, Daughter of Bert and Katherine (James) Hopkins Sr. Andrea graduated from Miami High School in 1973 and she was a true Vandal. She worked as a receptionist for the prosecutor’s office with the Apache Tribe. At one time she also worked as a dispatcher for San Carlos P.D. and E.M.S. Her favorite past time was sewing and she was a good seamstress. She sewed a lot of clothing for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and having family outings. Andrea is survived by her husband Alfred Steele, her daughters; Michelle and Francine Steele both from Peridot, AZ and her son Vinton Steele from San Carlos, AZ, her brothers: Efton Tony Hopkins, William Hopkins, Sr., Luther Hopkins, Edwin Hopkins, Bert Hopkins, Jr., Albert Hopkins, her sisters: Fidella “Judy” Fasthorse, Patricia Bertoldo and Marie Bendle Wake will be on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Alfred Steele’s residence in Peridot, AZ/Peridot Siding Rd. Funeral Services will be Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ Interment will be at Upper Peridot Cemetery – Peridot, AZ
