Alma Jean Heslep

Alma Jean Heslep, age 81 of Globe, AZ passed away peacefully with her son at her side, on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at her residence in Globe, AZ She was born in Alice, TX on January 1, 1931, and had lived in Arizona for 75 years. She was the daughter of Charles M. and Leona (Russell) Evans. Alma attended Miami High School. She worked at Ardells Restaurant as did her sister. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting as well as watching any sport with the guys on television. She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved babies and her pet animals. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Heslep in 2002 and her daughter Sandra Jean Heslep in 1979. Alma is survived by her son Charles “Charlie” Heslep (Cheryl), of Globe, AZ and her sister Ruby M. Gibson of Globe, AZ and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Copper Community Hospice for their professional assistance and care they gave to Alma and her family. The family also would like to thank Lamont Mortuary for all their help during this difficult time. Visitation will be on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 9:00 – 10:00 A.M. at the Central Christian Church/ 390 E. Sycamore St./ Globe, AZ Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery
