Ralph T. Weaver, Sr., age 93 of Coolidge, AZ passed away on November 3, 2012 at Copper Mountain Inn Nursing Home in Globe. He was born in Milton, Oklahoma on November 3, 1919, the son of William A. and Lury Belle (Birch) Weaver. Ralph was raised and schooled in Bokoshe , OK. He enlisted in CCC Corp. and worked at the Grand Canyon and Kingman. He also worked for the Kansas City Southern Railway Co. as a fireman and engineer. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 and when he returned after WW. II in 1946, he moved to Coolidge, AZ. Ralph worked for AZ Edison/APS for 33 years until his retirement in 1981. He also worked his farm in Coolidge. Ralph belonged to I.B.E.W. for 60 years. He enjoyed watching football and baseball. He is preceded in death by his wife Murle Smith Weave in 1995 and his daughter Johnnie Persinger. Ralph is survived by his children; Ralph Weavear, Jr. (Judy), Glen Eddings (Irene) and Velata Shaffer (Merle) all of Claypool, AZ, eight grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1:00-2:30 P.M. at Lamont Morturary Chapel in Globe, AZ Graveside Services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Globe Cemetery officiated by Brother Gene Carter, Jr.
