Andrew B. Nosie, Sr.

Andrew Baker Nosie, Sr.,age 78 of San Carlos, AZ passed away on October 23, 2012 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ He was born in San Carlos, AZ on January 12, 1934. Son of John Baker and Eleanor Kayson Nosie. Andrew attended Rice Day School. He worked as a ranch hand on most all the ranches on the San Carlos Reservation. Later he became a police officer for the San Carlos Police Dept. He also worked for the copper mines in Hayden and Inspiration Copper in Miami, AZ. He enjoyed taking drives and visiting family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Dora Hammond Nosie in 2008. Andrew is survived by his children Joyce Nosie, Alvin Nosie, Andrew Nosie, Jr., John Nosie, Melvin Nosie, Krista Nosie and Hubert Nanty, his sister Marilyn Nuñez, 30 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Wake will be on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 6:00 a.m. at Apache Independent Church Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 Noon at the Apache Independent Church. Interment will be at Northgate Cemetery in San Carlos, AZ
