Glendora Phillips

Glendora Phillips, age 47, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on September 17, 2012 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ.She was born in San Carlos, Arizona on October 19, 1964. She is daughter of the late Lewis and Josephine Phillips.She attended Rice Elementary School K-8, graduated from Globe High School and attended Gila Community College and studied Early Childhood classes.She helped the San Carlos community by working at the San Carlos Head Start, San Carlos Public Library, Apache Gold Casino & Resort, Altec Home Care Provider and Babysitter.Glendora will be missed by everyone that she has touched her life with. She would always welcome friends, family, and relatives into her home without a doubt. She was funny, caring, giving of herself, showed unconditional love and guidance to young ones. She was “mom” and “the greatest auntie” to her nieces and nephews. She was blessed with many family and friends that loved her. We will greatly miss hearing her laughter that filled her home or the joy that she bestowed upon us. Glendora is survived by her brothers and sisters: Leona Hosteenez (Calvin), Patsy Dillon (Earl), Mildred Nelson (Tim), Connie Hopkins (Albert), Bernice Phillips, Becky Talkalie, Joyce Wilson, and Foster Sister Holly Hosay, Kenneth Phillip Sr. (Delores), Jacob Phillips, Steven Phillips, Eric Hosay (Josephine), Lewis Phillips Jr. and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Wake will be Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at the Glendora Phillips’ residence/Rodeo Lane/Peridot, AZ. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at San Carlos Miracle Church. Interment will be at Chinatown Cemetery in San Carlos, AZ
