Alice Castaneda Hernandez

Alice C. Hernandez, age 74 of Central Heights, Arizona passed away on September 13, 2012 at her residence in Central Heights, AZ She was born in Globe, Arizona on December 4, 1937. Daughter of Ralph and Roxie (Murphy) Castaneda. She had lived and worked in Los Angeles for 12 years. Moved to Globe and worked in Account Payable Department for Inspiration Copper Co. and Cypruss for 20 years. She also worked for Gila Aging. Enjoyed gardening, reading and taking care of her pets. Preceded in death by her husband Ramon Hernandez in 1992 and her brothers Randy and Richard Castaneda. Alice is survived by her children; Ray Hernandez (Evonne), Vicki Layton (Ed), both of Globe, Robert Hernandez (Maria), Richard Hernandez (Kimberly), Andrea Mayorga (Efrem) of Globe , her sisters; Edith Barajas of Miami, AZ, Ida Padilla, Margaret Williams, both of Globe, Patty Irvin and Bernice Riggins, her brothers; Robert, Ralph, Ronny and Rex Castaneda, 12 grandchildren and 13 Great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Globe Christian Center in Globe, AZ Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
