Hilton Elliot Reede

Hilton Elliot Reede, age 65 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Sept. 9, 2012 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, AZ He was born in San Carlos, AZ on August 29, 1947, son of Herbert and Sarah (Mutton) Reede. He graduated from Globe High School in 1966 and joined the U.S. Army to serve his country proudly during the Vietnam Era as an Airborne Medic with the 101st. He later earned his Associates Degree from Phoenix College. Hilton loved to read and tell stories of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed listening to music, eating Indian tamales and watching the A.S.U. Sun Devils play football. In his free time he spent many happy hours with his friends and family. Hilton is survived by his son Brian Reed of Evans, CO and his daughter Mildred “Millie” Reede of San Carlos, his brother Herbert B. Reede of San Carlos, his niece Christine Reede of San Carlos and eight grandchildren. Wake will be Friday, September 14, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Christine Reede’s Residence/Wht. Mtn. Ave. San Carlos. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at St Charles Catholic Church. Interment will be at San Carlos Veterans Cemetery w/ Military Honors.
