Connie Elizabeth Brooks

Connie Elizabeth Brooks (Dunn) was born in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma in 1917 and married James ('Jimmy') Brooks in 1942, in Valdosta, Georgia, when he was in the army. They lived in Florida (Panana City), Las Vegas, Paul's Valley, Midland, California, and for many years in the Miami area. She is survived by her daughter Roberta (Terry) and J.C. Brooks of Globe. Her oldest son Joe Wayne (Maralea Brooks) passed away in Oklahoma several years ago. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous (?) great grandchildren and her best friend and her family of many , many years, Nadine Cothrun of the Central Heights area. Connie was a beautician for many years and also sewed as a hobby. She is to be buried in the Globe Cemetery alongside of her beloved Jimmy. Viewing will be Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel.
