Joyce Lorraine Jones

Mrs. Joyce L. Jones, age 82 of Globe, Arizona passed away on August 15, 2012 at her residence in Globe. She was born in Welch, West Virginia on march 4, 1930. Daughter of Thomas and Hazel (Young) Murphy. Joyce cooked, cleaned and was the caretaker for the Holy Angels Convent. She was a loving homemaker all her life, wonderful house wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was raised and went to school in West Virginia. Because of her father’s health they moved to Arizona. She loved sewing, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Her husband Jesse called her his “Hillbilly Sweetheart” Joyce is survived by her husband Jesse Jones, her daughters Linda Silvas and Rhonda Baldwin, her brother Lyle Murphy, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday 18, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, AZ Rosary will begin at 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
