Christopher “Bahee” Bendle, entered into life December 25, 1940. The son of Merle and Rhea (Titla) Bendle. He passed away July 13, 2012 at the age of 72 years old. Christopher attended San Carlos Day School up to the sixth grade. After finishing sixth grade he began his live and career as a cowboy, being a ranch hand and a cowboy for most of his life. He was known for taking off from school to go horseback riding along the river banks of Seven Mile Wash. He had a great knowledge for working with cattle and horses. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, keeping himself busy with something to do. He grew up most of his life living at the Holygrounds. Being mad over (Stinggy) the “ee-yah” Mesquite beans. He was also known for his good sense of humor, teasing family and friends. He enjoyed going for long walks and fishing. Christopher was a man of few words, but when he got together with the men of Seven Mile Wash, they all would enjoy talking and teasing each other of the past good times they all spent together growing up. Bahee is preceeded in death by his mother Rhezea, his father Merle Bendle, two brothers Donald Bendle and Howard Hooke, Sr. Christopher is survived by his two daughters; Sharon Platero and Christine Goode, his sister Sally Antonio, grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, but will cherish our memories forever. We will remember him always with great love and affection. Wake will be Fri. July 20, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Wesley Gilbert, Jr. residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be held on Sat. July 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery
