Charles L. “Bud” Clark, age 91, of Globe, Arizona passed away on June 15, 2012 at his residence in Globe, AZ He was born in Reserve, New Mexico on July 29, 1920. Son of Elvis l. and Mary (Thomas) Clark. He grew up and was schooled in Young, AZ. He went to work for seven months on a Geological Survey right after High School. He later went to work at the Bar-X Ranch with his father. He joined the U.S. Army in 1942, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was discharged in 1946 and he immediately returned to ranching at the Bar-X until 1959. He and his wife Lenora whom he married in 1951, moved to Texas from 1959 – 1963. When they moved back to Globe Charles decided to buy the 2-N-Bar Ranch outside of Globe. In 2005 he decided he would retire and they moved to Globe. Charles and Lenora celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary on June 15, 2012. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and raising animals. He loved being with his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Juanita Clark-Overson and Wanda F. Clark-Cline, and his daughter Sandra G. Clark Crawford-Dennhardt. Charles is survived by his wife Lenora J. Clark, his children; Charles Lynn Clark (Pat) and Edward Lee Clark (Leah), his sister Lora M. Holder, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sat. June 23, at 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, AZ Funeral Services will be Sat. June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery, Globe, AZ Donation to: Copper communities Hospice – 136 S. Broad St. – Globe, AZ 85501.
