High Kerlin Keller of Globe, AZ joined our Heavenly Father on May 21, 2012 at his home after a long illness. He was born in Socorro, NM to parents Lloyd Benton Keller and Flossie Katie Martin. He was married to Elizabeth M.V. Grimes in Deming, N.M. on December 17, 1951. He is survived by a brother Barcus A. (Merlein) Keller of Elephant Butte, NM, his 9 children; Donna “Jody” (Calvin) Mikeworth of Globe, AZ, Aaron (Diana) Keller of Globe, AZ, Nancy Keller of Rodeo, NM, Lewis Keller of Gila, NM, Cheri (Tom) Fulkerson of Safford, Lloyd (Bonnie) Keller of Iola, TX, James Keller of Gila, NM, Rebecca Keller of Animas, NM, and Libby Lou (C.D.) Dill of Playas, NM; 30 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He grew up in San Antonio, NM. He attended school thru fourth grade when he had to quit and go to work during the depression. He served two tours in the US Army during the Korean War. He received the purple heart for being wounded in the leg by a grenade in the fighting in Korea. He also served in the Navy Seabee Reserves doing refrigeration. He retired as a journeyman pipefitter local 741 out of Tucson. He had a great love for God, his fellowman, his country and his family. He will be greatly missed, till we meet again. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at Globe Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
