William Calvin Imhoff, born February 25, 1926, passed away at his residence on April 30, 2012. Born in Corona, New Mexico to Albert John Imhoff and Addie Myrtle (Grove) Imhoff. He was the youngest of six children, raised in a ranching family. Upon leaving home he worked at many interesting jobs throughout his life, including being a ranch hand, working on the railroad throughout Arizona and being an underground miner. He proudly served his country in the Korean War in 1951-1952, coming back to settle in Phoenix, Arizona where he had met and married the love of his life Dolores Lanovich. Bill and Dolores moved to Globe in 1970 with their four children, upon which time Bill managed the local Yellow Front Store and later the Tribal Store in San Carlos. Bill retired in 1988 from A.P.S. Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a wonderful caring person to many others around him. He cherished his family and his faith, being a convert to the L.D.S. church which he greatly loved. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Dolores, his four children; Kathy, John, Sharon (Gerald), Mark (Joan) seven grandsons and six great grandchildren.
