Bobby Lewis Beydler, passed away at his home in Globe on April 19, 2012, surrounded by family members and friends who loved him so dearly. He will forever be in our hearts and the memories he made with so many of us. He was 74. Bobby was born on June 4, 1937 in Jerico Springs, Missouri, the second child of Donald Beydler and Dorothy Pyle. They moved to Globe when Bobby was four years old. Another move took them to Selah, Washington for a few years but they returned to Globe during Bobby’s seventh year of school and he remained here until his death. He graduated in 1955 from Globe High. He was Purchasing Manager for Magma Copper Company, retiring at age 55 after 32 years of service. The early retirement gave him the opportunity to enjoy his wide variety of hobbies and interest that included anything to do with cars, hunting, bowling, 4-wheel drive outings, motorcycle rides, camping and hiking. He liked to dance and loved to read and was a great story teller. He spent countless hours keeping his cars and yard in immaculate conditions. Spending time with family and friends was a huge part of Bobby’s life and leaves behind many who will greatly miss him. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Joyce Beydler, his daughters, Laci (Curt) Goretcki of Mesa and Shelly Niewold of Chandler. One son, Tye (Cheryl) Beydler of Mesa. Also four wonderful grandchildren, Amanda (Nate) Johnson, Bryan Beydler, Christopher Goretcki and Matthew Goretcki and two great-grandchildren, Rhiannon and Zane Johnson. He has three sisters; Darlene Mackey, Audrey (Keith) Wantland and Sandra (Carmen) Corso and his brother Neil (Sherry) Beydler, all of Globe. His sister-in-law Shirley Gibson (Frank) and mother-in-law, Claudine Boswell. Also his constant companions and loyal friends, Bill and Joyce Wheeler and his loving caretaker for past two years, Sonia Boyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers-in-law Harry Brandon, Bob Mackey and Carl Hileman, and his sister-in-law Lupe Beydler. Memorial services are planned for Saturday, April 28th at 12:00 noon at the Pinal Mountain Elks in Globe. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to Pinal Mountain Eks Lodge—P.O.
