Geneva “G.P” Skenandore, age 72, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on April 7, 2012 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ She was born in San Carlos, Arizona on February 21, 1940. Daughter of Peter and Louise (Dillon) Slick. She attended Rice Elementary School and Phoenix Indian High School. After High School she attended Job Training as a seamstress in San Francisco. She later moved to Grants, New Mexico where she married her first husband for eight years. She later returned to San Carlos in 1968 where she worked as a Tribal Caregiver at the Tribal Nursing Home, JD Home and Skill Center. Enjoyed quilting, sewing, beadwork and cooking. Also she loved the color purple. Preceded in death by her first husband Henry Pino, her son Sampson A. Pino, her daughter Lisa J. Pino, her sisters; Joanna Brown, Vera J. Williams and Beverly A. Reede. Geneva is survived by her son; Daryl Pino (Gina), her daughter; Lorrie Edwards, her sisters; Willa J. Stago and Kathleen Hopkins, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous step-brother, sisters nieces and nephews. Wake will be on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Darrell Pino’s residence/New Moonbase/ Funeral Services will be held Sat. April 14, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Gethsemene Church in Peridot, AZ. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery, San Carlos, AZ
