Delphine Shaw

Delphine Ward Shaw, age 70, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on March 30, 2012. She was born in San Carlos, AZ on March 15, 1942. Daughter of Bessie Hopkins Bullis and Frank Ward. Delphine attended East Fort Mission School. She was a dedicated and loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Cousin. When it came to anything her family was her first priority. She enjoyed watching TV, doing cross word puzzles, being outside, and cooking outside. She baked delicious bread, liked sewing and her quilts where warm and beautiful. She had a good sense of humor and enjoyed joking with others. She was a homemaker in charge of the home. She always thought of others before herself. She had a giving heart, anyone who came to the door hungry, she fed them. When you needed help she was there to lend a helping hand. She loved all her kids and her grandkids, and was very protective over them. Delphine leaves behind her husband, Bruno Shaw, one sister, Gladys Ward, four (4) daughters, Judy Victor, Darlene Jordan, Christine Casey, Ruth Casey, her son, Eddie Casey, Jr., numerous grandkids, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by, her parents, Bessie Hopkins Bullis, Frank Ward, her son, Larry Ward Casey, Eddie Casey, Sr. (first marriage), four (4) sisters, Juana Ward, Otella Benson, Zuella Buck, and three (3) brothers, Martin Ward, Andrew Ward, and Jamerson Ward. Her laughter and jokes will be greatly missed. She had an unconditional love that no one else had. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Sat. April 7, 2012 at Delphine Shaw’s residence in San Carlos, AZ
