Ronald Edwards

Ronald Ray Edwards passed away March 15, 2012, in San Carlos, Arizona He was 64. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona and was a life long resident. He was the former Vice Chairman of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. He served on the Anchor Seven Cattle Association as the President for the San Carlos Apache Tribe, a Chairman for the Natural Resource Committee. He was a part of the San Carlos Law Enforcement and the Game & Fish commission. He attended Stewart High School, where he was part of the team when they won the State Champion in basketball. Preceded in death by his father Edward Vance Edwards. Ronald is survived by his wife, Berlinda Edwards of San Carlos, his two daughters; Lashelle and Shawnee Edwards, his mother Madeline Edwards of San Carlos, four brothers; Eddie, Virgil, Arthur and Jonathan Edwards all of San Carlos, six sisters; Josephine Smith of Red Lake Minnesota, Marion Cassadore and, Maybelline Talgo of San Carlos, Norma Tessa, Martha Lyn Machuse and Margaret Cromwell all of Cibeque, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Wake will be on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Edwards Residence/Rodeo Lane/Peridot, AZ Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ. Interment will be at Upper Peridot Cemetery
