Terrell Victor, age 93, of San Carlos Arizona passed away on March 10, 2012 at his residence in Chinatown, AZ He was born in Old San Carlos on October 21, 1918. The son of Timothy Victor and Ida Francis Victor. His father moved the family to San Carlos in the 1930’s. Terrell attended the Peridot Lutheran Mission School. He worked for the SE Ranch until 1944 He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II, He was captured by the Germans on December 17, 1944 and became a prisoner of war. In May 1945 Terrell and his fellow Americans soldiers gained their freedom. He was honorably discharged. Upon his return in 1952 he found employment in Superior and in San Carlos, Arizona. After six years in the Meat Department during which Terrell says “I never missed a day of work” he started to work for the San Carlos Tribal Store. Later he became a Peridot Councilman and finished his term. Terrell attended church regularly and enjoyed spending time at his ranch in Hilltop. While making woods. He loved going for joy rides. His favorite restaurant was Chalo’s Casa de Reynoso. He also enjoyed being with family and friends telling stories about his life. Terrell is survived by his sons; Fraizer Victor, Terrell Victor, Jr. (Violet), Armstrong Victor, Jonathan Victor, Benedict Victor Sr., Stacy Victor (Claradina), Timothy Victor, his daughters; Serena Irving (Danny), Virgeline Elgo (Leroy), Leopha Chatlin (Bryce), Ethelene Phillips (Roy), Theresa Victor and Emma Victor all of San Carlos, 62 Grandchildren – 126 Great Grandchildren – 65 Great-Great Grandchildren. Wake will be on Friday, March 16, 2012 @ 4:00 P.M. at Terrell Victor’s Residence in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. @ Burdette Hall Interment will be at San Carlos Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
