Richard Gonsalez

Richard Gonzales, age 88, of Globe, Arizona passed away on February 28, 2012 at Gateway Ranch in Gilbert, AZ He was born in El Paso, Texas on December 15, 1923. Son of Josephine Apodaca. He worked as a cement mason for Inspiration Consolidated Copper and was a member of the American Legion In his earlier years he enjoyed watching football and was a die hard fan of the Phoenix Suns. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his mother. Richard is survived by his wife Vera (Miranda) Gonsalez, his daughters; Yolanda Burgett (Lonnie) and Judy Musselmann, his sons: David Gonsalez and Rick Gonsalez, his sister Martha Marquez, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe. Rosary will follow at 12:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will start at 1:00 P.M.
