Catherine Giorsetti

Catherine F. Giorsetti, age 87 of Globe, Arizona passed away on February 14, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe, AZ She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on June 22, 1924. Daughter of Augustus and Helen (Roberts) Steyaert. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Phoenix. Catherine was a loving homemaker devoted to her family. They were always first in her heart. She was a kind, gentle and caring woman. She enjoyed sewing, loved cooking and made a variety of delicious preserves. She was a member of the Holy Angels Alter Society and she served the Globe School District as a Nurse’s Aide for 10 years at Copper Rim Elementary School. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph B. Giorsetti in 1976, and her brother James B. Steyaert. Catherine is survived by her sons; Joe Giorsetti of Globe, AZ, Peter Giorsetti of Phoenix, AZ, Paul Giorsetti of Oakland, CA and Philip Giorsett (Therese) of Flagstaff, AZ, her brother Mark Steyaert of San Diego, CA, two Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren Visitation will be on Sat. February 18, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church – 914 Sullivan St. - Miami, AZ Rosary will follow at 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery in Globe, AZ after the mass of Christian Burial. Donations to the Joseph B. Giorsetti Memorial Scholarship at Globe High School will be graciously accepted instead of flowers in memorial to Catherine F. Giorsetti.
