Bennie Robles

Bennie Robles, age 89 of Globe, Arizona passed away on February 9, 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona He was born in Globe, Arizona on June 13, 1932, son of Carlotta Robles. As a young boy Bennie worked in a bakery in Globe. When he was drafted into the Army he was stationed overseas and learned to be a cook. He married when he got out of the Army. He worked as a custodian for both Alden and Hollis Theaters for 30 years. Also for First National, First Interstate, Wells Fargo for 30 years, local Barber Shop, Gila County Courthouse, Globe High School and several Doctors Offices. He enjoyed watching old Western movies, singing and teaching his family to sing. Proceeded in death by his wife Rachel Alvarez Robles in December 2008, his sons; Benjamin and Manuel Robles, his daughter Mary Alvarez. Bennie is survived by his daughter Maria Villareal (Chris), his son Ray Robles (Charlene), his brothers; Bill and Ernie Robles, his sisters; Lydia Valerio and Angela Tolley (John), 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at Holy Angles Catholic Church. Rosary will follow at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery – Globe, Arizona.
