Joe "Artie" Zapata

Joe “Artie” Zapata age 59, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Sat. January 28, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He was born in Safford, Arizona on July 8, 1952, Son of Vicente and Emilia (Ortiz) Zapata. He worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic for Freeport MacMoran. “Artie” is survived by his wife Janice Zapata, his sons; Arthur J. Zapata (Sarah) of Winnemucca, NV, Bryan J. Zapata of Globe, AZ, and Joshua V. Zapata of Superior, AZ, his stepson; Rob Jensen of Rawlins, WY, his sisters; Terry Zapata of Globe, Beatrice Lamb (Rod) of Phoenix, AZ, Olga Martinez (George) of Superior, AZ, and Rose Reynolds (Dave) of Phoenix, AZ, and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sat. February 4, 2012 @ 9:00 A.M. @ Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. Rosary will follow at 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 A.M.
