Jack Johnson Saye, age 90, of Globe, Arizona passed away on September 27, 2011 at his residence in Globe. He was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico on July 25, 1921. Son of Crawford and Lula (Osborn) Saye. He had been a resident of Arizona for 87 years coming here as young boy. Jack was an ordained minister for almost 30 years for the Southern Baptist Church. He would also substitute for other Southern Baptist Church Pastors in the area. He had worked many years as an underground miner, also worked for US Carbon Carbide and Kennicott Copper in Ray, AZ Jack enjoyed going camping, hunting and being outdoors whenever possible. He liked woodworking and painting. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1704 in Globe. A treasured friend will be missed by family and all those who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and five sisters. Jack is survived by his wife Mary (Cox) Saye, his son Mike Saye (Sue) and five grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sat. October 1, 2011 @ 2:00 P.M. @ Lamont Mortuary Chapel, Globe, AZ Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 @ 2:00 P.M. @ V.F.W. Post 1704-Globe, AZ
