William Pearson

William R. Pearson found peace on July 21, 2011. He was born in Delta, Colorado on December 6, 1928. Bill was a beloved husband, father of four, grandfather of five, and great grandfather of seven. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Barbara Jean (Gall) Pearson and his daughter Vicky Jean Preston. Bill started working in Lead mines at the young age of 15 in Colorado and finished his career as the drill & blast foreman at the Christmas Mine in Arizona. Bill was champion Spades player, a Dallas Cowboy fan and he enjoyed teasing and having fun with his family. Bill is survived by his wife Doris Pearson, his children; Ken Pearson (Kay), Randy Pearson (Debbie), and Terry Pearson, his sibling Gary Pearson (Janet), Shirley Ewing (Glenn), five grandchildren; Kristen Pearson, Kerry Loeding (Ryan), Christopher Pearson, Amanda Fifita (Latu) and Nicci Viley (JohnT), great grandchildren Mosese, Malakai, ma’ake, Naomi and lesieli Fifta, Levi and Verde Jean Wiley his Stepchildren; Tom Badiali, Ada Badiali and her daughter Christina & Eric Badiali. Funeral services were held July 27, 2011 at Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
