Irene Bush

Irene Bush, age 87, of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away on April 30, 2011 at Trillium Specialty hospital in Mesa, AZ She was born in Claypool, AZ on December 16, 1923. Daughter of John and Mary Burdette. Irene went to school in San Carlos and graduated from Phoenix Indian High School. Irene was a kind, gentle and caring woman, one who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. She also had many skills and made beautiful cradelboards and clothing for her family to wear. At one time she also worked at the Tiffany’s Café in San Carlos. Preceded in death by her first husband Leo Patten in 1946,and her second husband the late Emerson Bush, Sr. in 2002. Irene is survived by her children; Jeanette Patten Yazzie, Dorothy Bush, Emerson Bush, Jr., Karen Bread, Mary Ann Eleando, Kathleen Bush and Jeanette Newman. 18 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, May 6, 2011 @ 11:00 A.M. @ Assembly of God Church in San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Assembly of God Church, Pastor Jeri Maynard officiating. Interment will be at Northgate Cemetery in San Carlos, AZ
