Jaime C. Peña, age 50, of Globe, Arizona was taken from us on Monday, March 21, 2011 at his residence in Globe, Arizona. He was born on May 28 1960 in El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico. Son of Josefina and Rafael Peña. Jaime was a man of great traits and bold characteristics. He worked in the construction business and took pride in his jobs. As many people know, there was no job too big or too small. Jaime was blessed with the ability to rein horses, and was an extravagant horseman. He participated in Mexican rodeos “Charreadas” for many years and was very well known all over the U.S. and Mexico for his roping events known as Piales. Jaime enjoyed riding horses, drinking Bud Light with many friends and family under his tree. He was a phenomenal father, a devoted husband, a loyal friend and the best “Poppa” in the eyes of his grandchildren. Jaime Peña leaves behind in loving memory; his wife of 30 years Marlene A. Peña of Globe, his three daughters; Jessica Peña and husband Jaime Mendoza of Phoenix, Lillian Pena of Phoenix, Juanita Tarango of Globe, his son; Jaime Peña, II and wife Cynthia Olvera of Globe, his mother Josefina Peña of Mexico, four sisters all of California, two brothers from Mexico and eight grandsons. He was preceeded in death by his father Rafael Peña. Jaime Peña impacted many lives in the short amount of time he was with us. He will never be forgotten and his legacy will live forever. Visitation will be on Tues. March 29, 2011 @ 9:00 A.M./ @ Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Miami, AZ Followed by a Rosary at 9:30 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be @ 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami, AZ
