Barbara Jo Cocreham-Peña Barbara Jo Peña passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at the home of her wonderful auntie Jovita “Jaye” Howell with her family present after a long battle with breast cancer. Barbara Jo was born October 12, 1962, to Connie and Richard Cocreham of Miami, Arizona. She was the second to the youngest of 5 children. She attended Miami High School. Barbara enjoyed family and friends. Her interests were studying the word of God, watching HGTV and spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook, a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Barb was employed at Safeway for 30 years where she developed many friendships and devoted customers. She is preceded in death by her father Richard Cocreham, Jr., her grandparents Richard & Stella Cocreham and Ventura & Maria Lopez. Barbara is survived by her husband Antonio “Tony” Peña, her children; Faustina Pearce, Tyler Pearce, Aisha Perino, her step children; Philip, Desiree and Andres M. Peña, her mother Concepcion L. Cocreham, her brother Michael Osorio, her sisters; Bonnie Fornfeist (John), Marie Hutchinson (Bob) Dicksie Sitz (Todd), five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thurs. February 24, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 25, 2011 @ 11:00 A.M./ @ Calvary Shadows Assembly of God in Globe, AZ Interment will follow at Globe Cemetery.
