Sidney C. Medlock

Sidney C. Medlock, 74, was called home to heaven on January 31, 2011. Sidney was born in Ramah, New Mexico to Jewel and Nellie Medlock on May 9, 1936. Sidney was a very special person and anyone who knew him will never forgot his selfless, caring and kind ways. You will be greatly missed Dad! Sidney is survived by his wife Lavon of 47 years, a son Timothy (Penny) of Chandler, daughter Kimberly (Robert) Sacra of Phoenix, two grandchildren Nathen and Shelby Medlock, one sister Janell (Guy) Albert and many nieces and nephews. Sidney was preceded in death by his brothers Ira, Ray and Steve Medlock. A memorial gathering is planned for February 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 921 Belmont Avenue, Superior, AZ 85173 The family requests that in lieu of flowers that a donation in his name be made to the Superior First Baptist Church or the Diabetes Foundation.
