Walter Dekanek

Mr. Walter Dekanek, age 85 of Globe, Arizona passed away on December 14, 20 , at Faubush Family Home in Globe, AZ.He was born in Herkimer, New York on May 8, 1925. Son of John and Anna (Bachorik) Dekanek.He worked as a truck driver for Oostayk Trucking Co. where he retiered Served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines during WW II and was honorably discharged in November 1945.Enjoyed leatherworking, traveling the southwestern U.S., He also was a past member of the American Legion.Preceded in death by his wife Lois M. Dekanek in 2009.Walter is survived by his daughters; Dale Rae Evans, Deborah Duffy and Lois M. High. Six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held Mon.
