Norman Chapman

Norman Chapman, age 59 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011, at San Carlos . He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on September 26, 1951. Son of Orton and Sarah Chapman Norman was a 1971 graduate from Phoenix Indian High School. He attended Auto Mechanic Trade School in Los Angeles, CA. He also was a seasonal firefighter and had worked for ASARCO as a slag hauler. He last worked as a security guard for 12 years for the San Carlos Apache Casino. Enjoyed traveling, playing with his grandchildren, watching basketball and he also played the guitar. He like being around his family and friends. Preceded in death by his son Andrew Thompson Norman is survived by his wife; Darlene Chapman, his daughter Durena Thompson, his sons; Leon Thompson, Sr. and Emanuel Thompson, Jr. his sisters; Dorothy Smith, Ruth Chapman and JoAnn Goseyun, his brothers; Commander Chapman, Sr., Earnie Meade and Wesley Chapman, Sr. 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Wake will be on Fri. Jan. 14, 2011 @ 4:00 P.M. @ Chapman?s Residence/Kitcheyan Rd. Funeral Services will be held Sat. Jan. 15, 2011 @ 1:00 P.M. @ Full Gospel Church/Wht. Mtn. Ave. ?
